About the position:

Salt is expanding and seeking an outstanding Product Manager to join our product team. If you have strong leadership skills, a proactive problem-solving approach that mixes business with technical acumen, attention to detail, and a steep learning curve, we are looking for you.

You will play a pivotal role in driving unique API discovery product and Salt Platform capabilities, which are vital components enabling our entire API security value chain - from APIs discovery to APIs vulnerabilities detection, and all the way to API threat monitoring. You will get to demonstrate your deep understanding of technologies, cybersecurity, API architecture ecosystem, excellent relationship-building skills with partners and internal stakeholders, and your ability to translate complex technical situations into smart product solutions.

What will you do?

• Collaborate with engineering, security researchers, UX experts, customer success, sales, and other product managers to ensure SALT has the best solution in the market.
• Embrace new technologies in cloud and LLM to ensure SALT leadership
• Take complete ownership of and drive the product vision for Salt’s platform enterprise capabilities, ensuring that it aligns with the company's overarching goals and market demands.
• Lead Salt’s incident-response Workflows capabilities, allowing customers to build flexible automated playbooks to respond to the findings raised by Salt, and become ingrained in their work processes.
• Leverage your in-depth understanding of cybersecurity and ecosystem components to guide the evolution of Surface and Workflows.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market demands, and competitor offerings to inform product decisions and product enhancements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (4+ years) in product management or related roles, specifically within cybersecurity companies – mandatory
• Experience in working with B2B SaaS/Cloud products
• Strong technical background or hands-on experience in software development
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle, both inbound and outbound.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to foster partnerships with technical stakeholders and external partners
• problem-solving skills with a track record of translating complex technical concepts into actionable product strategies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear technical documentation and present complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
• MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent - Advantage
