Identity Management Consultant

Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring an experienced IAM (Identity and Access Management) Team Leader to join the Technology Division of a major healthcare organization in Tel Aviv.

Role Overview

This position involves leading the Identity and Access Management engineering team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise IAM infrastructures. The role includes planning architectures, guiding development and infrastructure teams, and ensuring secure, efficient access management across complex environments. The position requires deep technical expertise in Microsoft infrastructures, scripting, and identity lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the IAM engineering team, including training and onboarding for team systems.
• Design and implement IAM infrastructure architectures across enterprise environments.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams on IAM integration and deployment.
• Develop and maintain complex PowerShell scripts for automation and performance monitoring.
• Conduct regular maintenance, upgrades, and performance testing of IAM systems.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight for IAM-related projects and security compliance.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent military/technical training – mandatory.
• Proven experience managing a technical team – mandatory.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in IAM and Microsoft infrastructure, including Entra ID (Azure AD) – mandatory.
• Strong scripting experience with PowerShell – mandatory.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 (OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint Online) – advantage.
• Knowledge of Exchange (On-Premises / Online) – advantage.
