BI Systems Analyst and Project Manager

Position: BI Systems Analyst and Project Manager

The position involves managing BI projects end-to-end, from identifying business needs and writing detailed specifications to coordinating development with IT, conducting QA, and overseeing production rollout. The role also includes business and data modeling across multiple core organizational systems and leading cross-functional development efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Manage BI projects throughout all phases, from requirements gathering to implementation.
• Write business and technical specifications, including data models and process definitions.
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, and business teams.
• Lead development activities in a matrix environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree – Must
• Completion of a Systems Analysis course or relevant academic background - Must
• At least one year of proven experience as a BI Systems Analyst – Must
• Strong SQL skills – Must
• Experience with Oracle SQL / PL-SQL – Must
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Business Objects (BO) or QlikView – Must
