Enzymit, a cell-free production and novel enzyme design platform, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will support daily laboratory operations, assist in research and development activities, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

About the role

We’re looking for a full-time, on-site Laboratory Technician at Rehovot’s Science Park. The role provides essential support across our research and development functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day lab operations. Responsibilities include preparing reagents, calibrating and cleaning equipment, verifying functionality, and maintaining accurate inventory records to ensure materials are available and properly stored. The position also involves keeping organized, compliant laboratory documentation in line with regulatory standards. 

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related life sciences field – REQUIRED
• Previous laboratory experience (academic or industrial) – ADVANTAGE
• Proficient in Google Sheets and Microsoft Office - ADVANTAGE
• Fast learner and well-organized, with the ability to maintain accurate records – REQUIRED
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail – REQUIRED
• Motivated and proactive, with strong initiative and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; collaborative team player
• Able to work independently as well as as part of a team
• Willingness to take on responsibility and achieve defined goals
