Financial Controller

Particle for Men is a dynamic and innovative men's grooming brand based in Tel Aviv. We're dedicated to empowering men to look and feel their best through high-quality grooming products and exceptional customer experiences.

We are expanding our team and seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Controller to oversee and manage our company's financial operations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, optimizing our financial systems, and supporting business decision-making with insights and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting:
• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting principles (US GAAP) and regulatory requirements. Ensure timely submission of all financial reports.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to ensure that the company’s financial goals are met. Analyze financial variances and propose corrective actions.
• Cash Flow Management:
• Manage cash flow and liquidity, ensuring the company has adequate resources for day-to-day operations while optimizing working capital.
• Internal Controls:
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls and processes to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Audit and Compliance:
• Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process and ensure compliance with local and international regulations on an on-going basis with the company’s advisors, including tax laws (including- US sales tax, US state tax, US Federal Tax and Israeli tax) and financial reporting standards.
• Financial Analysis:
• Provide detailed financial analysis to the executive team, including key performance indicators (KPIs), profitability analysis, and recommendations for financial optimization.
• Inventory management and Audit: Including implementation of monthly inventory audit, prices audit and COGS calculation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A CPA, CMA, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
• Previous experience at one of the Big Four accounting firms - required.
• 2+ years of experience in financial management or accounting. Experience in retail, or e-commerce industries is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Priority software - Must
• Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
• Strong focus on accuracy and consistency, with an ability to maintain high standards in financial reporting and compliance.
• Ability to identify financial issues, analyze potential solutions, and implement effective changes.
