IS Global Infra Operations Lead ABB Robotics

Take the lead in shaping the future of infrastructure operations across a global robotics enterprise. As IS Global Infra Operations Lead, you will be responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing IT services across cloud, network, and core infrastructure. This is a business-critical role with global impact, supporting 7500 employees across 50 countries and 150 sites.

You will lead a high-performing team and act as the central point for infrastructure service delivery across the enterprise. Working closely with Cloud Architecture, Workplace, and Information Security teams, you will ensure cohesive, compliant, and efficient service outcomes. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, vendor performance, and continuous improvement across all infrastructure domains.

Your Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global infrastructure operations strategy across cloud, networking, and on-prem environments
• Lead and develop a high-performing team including Cloud Ops and Network Leads
• Own SLAs, KPIs, and service quality across infrastructure services
• Govern core ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Service Level, and CMDB
• Manage vendor relationships and act as the primary contact for business stakeholders
  
  

You will also oversee the enterprise Service Desk function, ensuring effective staffing, tooling, and performance. Your role includes driving automation, managing service delivery processes, and providing executive-level reporting on service health and strategic initiatives. You will ensure alignment with compliance and audit requirements while supporting a hybrid workforce across global locations and time zones.

The position is global. The preferred locations are Polen, India, Spain, Italy, Sweden and China.

Your Background

• More than 10 years of leadership experience in IT infrastructure and operations
• Proven track record managing large-scale service delivery teams
• Strong knowledge of ITIL, ITSM platforms, and vendor ecosystems
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills
• Experience navigating complex vendor relationships and global service environments
