Field Services Representative - UPS’s Service Representative

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed UPS Systems Service Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Certified Electrician License and have extensive experience in electrical or electronics systems. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong technological affinity who can diagnose, repair, and maintain UPS systems in various settings.

What will you do?

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in UPS systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on UPS systems and related equipment.
• Ensure all UPS installations comply with safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to design and implement UPS solutions.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members.
• Maintain accurate records of all services performed and materials used.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

What makes you successful for this role?

• Valid Certified Electrician License.
• Diploma or degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in UPS systems service and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and electronics systems, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• High technological affinity and ability to work with advanced UPS systems and technologies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with advanced UPS systems and technologies.
• Certification in specialized areas of electrical or electronics.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for UPS systems.
