A defense projects company is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description:

• Mechanical design for the development of military systems.
• Specialization in the design and development of mechanical packaging for electronic enclosures, in accordance with military requirements and relevant MIL-STD standards.
• Integration of mechanical, thermal, and electromagnetic (EMC/EMI) requirements.
• Preparation of drawings, models, and engineering documentation (including drawings and assembly instructions).
• Supporting production, integration, and environmental testing (vibration, temperature, sealing, salinity, etc.).
• Working with engineering interfaces, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in designing packaging and electronic enclosures for the military market - a significant advantage.
• Knowledge of MIL-STD 810, IP65/67 standards, materials, and advanced manufacturing methods.
• Full proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects from end to end.
• Willingness to travel to the Shfela area one day a week.
