Technical Writer

Our AI-powered platform produces vulnerability-free base images that integrate cleanly into existing workflows, helping security and platform teams eliminate patching overhead without slowing down developers. Backed by top-tier investors and led by second-time founders who previously built the first software supply chain security company, which was later acquired by Aqua Security, we’ve gone from stealth to serving global enterprise customers in under six months.

We’re looking for our first Technical Writer to make Echo’s technology understandable and usable. You’ll dive into the code, document features as they’re built, and design the workflows that keep our docs accurate and fast-moving. At Echo, documentation isn’t an afterthought - it’s part of the product

What you’ll do

• Clearly communicate Echo’s product, features, and value to customers and partners.
• Develop and maintain product documentation, from API references and setup guides to solution briefs, release notes and FAQs.
• Collaborate with engineers and PMs to capture new features as they’re built and publish docs and messaging in sync with releases.
• Write and edit product microcopy, ensuring clarity and consistency across the platform.
• Craft messaging that differentiates Echo’s product in the market and reinforces our positioning.
• Create and maintain internal documentation and knowledge bases that streamline information flow across teams.
• Build automations and internal tools to improve documentation workflows and developer experience.

What you bring:

Required:

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer with proven track record in production environments
• Must have extensive cloud experience (AWS preferred)
• Proven hands-on experience with containerized environments and microservices using Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud provisioning tools, particularly Terraform
• Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies (GitHub Actions, Argo, Jenkins or similar)
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability for infrastructure and processes
• Innovative approach with demonstrated ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

Preferred:

• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Go or Bash
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud and container environments
• Experience supporting AI/ML workloads and infrastructure requirements
• Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as DataDog, Grafana, or similar
