🧩 Senior Java Backend Developer

🔍 Responsibilities:

• Rapid understanding of existing systems and adapting them to new developments
• Refactoring monolithic systems into microservices
• Designing and implementing scalable, reliable backend architecture
• Setting up and maintaining on-premise backend infrastructure
• Developing critical services in Java (Spring Boot)
• Writing and maintaining unit and integration tests (JUnit, TestContainers, mocking frameworks)
• Implementing event-driven communication using RabbitMQ (or Kafka)
• Optimizing backend performance and latency
• Designing, developing, and maintaining internal and external RESTful APIs
• Applying best practices for API versioning, documentation, authentication & authorization (OAuth2, JWT, API Gateway)
• Using Postman, Swagger for API testing and documentation
• Leading code reviews, mentoring team members, and solving complex problems
• Working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Writing clean, maintainable, and high-quality code

✅ Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development
• 5+ years developing RESTful APIs with Spring Boot
• Proven experience using AI tools to enhance development workflows
• Deep understanding of transaction lifecycle in distributed systems
• Experience with microservices architecture, including infrastructure setup
• Strong knowledge of RabbitMQ or Kafka, and event-driven architecture
• Solid experience with SQL Server, including stored procedures and performance tuning
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger)
• Experience with agents – strong advantage
• Experience migrating monolithic systems to microservices
• Experience with NoSQL databases
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Ability to independently own and deliver complex backend features
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
