Senior Custom Clearance Coordinator

We at ABIR – International Freight Forwarding are hiring a Senior Custom Clearance Coordinator to join our Custom Clearance team in Tel Aviv.

Role Description

• Execute customs clearance processes for import shipments in accordance with Israeli regulations.
• Proactively monitor shipment status.
• Review shipments to determine required regulatory handling for each case.
• Prepare, classify, and submit accurate customs declarations.
• Coordinate with clients, customs authorities, carriers, and freight forwarders to support clearance activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in Customs Brokerage and Import processes.
• Knowledge of Ocean Freight regulations and procedures..
• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Fluency in Hebrew and English.
• Familiarity with HS tariff classification - a plus.
• Experience in logistics or freight forwarding is a plus.
• Licensed Custom Broker - A plus.

Position Details

Working hours: Sun–Thu | 08:00–16:30

Centrally located office – Montefiore neighborhood, walking distance from Tel Aviv HaShalom train station and the light rail.
