CEO – U.S. Business Loans (Israel-Based Company)

About the RoleWe are establishing a new lending company based in Israel that will provide business loans / SMB financing to U.S. businesses. We are looking for a highly experienced leader who understands business lending, underwriting, and operations for the U.S. market, while being able to lead a team from Israel.
The ideal candidate has previously managed or helped lead a business loans / MCA / SMB lending company and understands the U.S. lending ecosystem, regulatory landscape, underwriting models, and broker relationships.
Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and lead the company from Israel while operating and serving the U.S. business lending market.Oversee all functions: sales, underwriting, risk, compliance, collections, finance, and partnerships.Develop the company’s go-to-market strategy for providing loans to U.S. SMBs.Establish relationships with U.S.-based ISOs, brokers, financial advisors, and funding partners.Manage underwriting guidelines, credit scoring, loan pricing, and portfolio performance.Set up U.S.-compliant legal, regulatory, and operational frameworks.Build and manage teams in Israel, and potentially small operational teams/partners in the U.S. (sales, legal, collections, etc). Report to investors and manage financial planning, P&L, and growth strategy.
Requirements 3+-Must have experience in business loans / MCA / SMB lending — ideally for the U.S. market.Experience in managing or helping scale a lending operation from the ground up.Strong understanding of U.S. underwriting, risk, collections, ACH payments, funding flows, etc. Knowledge of U.S. legal and compliance requirements for lending.Strong relationships with ISOs, brokers, lenders, or capital providers (U.S. preferred). - Leadership experience, ability to manage teams, processes, and financial performance.Fluent Hebrew and strong English (spoken and written).Nice to HavePreviously worked with or built U.S. lending products from Israel (e.g., Fundbox, BlueVine, Behalf, Payoneer-style structures).Experience raising capital or working with hedge funds / warehouse facilities.Familiarity with fintech lending technologies, automation, and risk models.
