Manufacturing Engineer – Solar Panels | Yehud | IAI – Missile & Space Systems Division

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Engineering & Systems plant and take part in the production of satellite solar panel assemblies.

The position includes:

• Preparing RCs (Routing Cards) in SAP according to production & assembly processes

• Creating assembly manuals for electro-mechanical units using 3D software, after coordination with engineering teams

• Reading and interpreting environmental test specifications (thermal cycles, vibration, vacuum) and supporting test execution

• Reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and detailed assembly instructions

• Participation in PRR (Production Readiness Review), MRB and other manufacturing-related boards

• Temporary supervision of a mechanical assembly team

• Supporting production & testing processes inside a clean room environment

• Working with English technical documentation

• Designing jigs and tooling when needed

• Ensuring compliance with procedures and clean room protocols

What we are looking for:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering / Aerospace Engineering – required

• At least 3 years of experience as a Manufacturing / NPI Engineer – required

• Experience writing RCs and technical assembly manuals – required

• Experience with electrical / environmental test specifications – advantage

• Experience with 3D CAD software – advantage

• SAP experience – advantage

• Experience in jig/tooling design and mechanical assembly – advantage

• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and clean room environment

• High-level technical English (reading & writing)
