Senior Hardware System Engineer / Architect

We are looking for a Senior Hardware System Engineer to take the lead in designing and developing the hardware architecture of a cutting-edge medical platform.

This is a hands-on position that combines system-level design with leadership responsibilities for a small hardware team (2 engineers) and close collaboration with mechanical, software, algorithm, and regulatory teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and validation of complex multi-board electronic systems.
• Define hardware specifications, oversee schematic design and PCB layout, and ensure design robustness through verification and testing.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth system integration.
• Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and support compliance with medical device standards (e.g., IEC 60601).
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Interface with suppliers and manufacturing partners during prototyping and production.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in hardware design, including several years in a senior or lead role.
• Proven experience in system-level design involving digital, analog, power, and communication interfaces.
• Background in medical devices or other regulated industries – including work with documentation and compliance.
• Proficiency in board design tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD) and strong debugging capabilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
