Senior Physicist

Landa Labs is looking for a Senior Physicist for the design of high-performance laser diodes

We are looking for an experienced and independent physicist to lead the theoretical and design aspects of a high-performance laser diode. This role combines deep theoretical understanding with the initiative and creativity to drive innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize device structures to enhance performance and reliability.
• Perform advanced optical simulations and modeling using Python-based tools and frameworks.
• Collaborate with the fabrication team to translate models into working devices.
• Provide scientific insight and direction for ongoing and future laser development efforts.

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Physics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Hands-on experience in development of optical or electro-optical devices, including simulations (must) and physical implementation (an advantage).
• Strong proficiency in Python for numerical modeling, data analysis, and simulation.
• Familiarity with semiconductor device physics, process technology and equipment – an advantage
