Full Stack Engineer

At echo, we’re fixing a broken system. Vulnerability management isn't working – it’s reactive, noisy, and unsustainable. Instead of chasing CVEs, we’re eliminating them at the source.

Our AI-powered platform produces vulnerability-free base images that integrate cleanly into existing workflows, helping security and platform teams eliminate patching overhead without slowing down developers. Backed by top-tier investors and led by second-time founders who previously built the first software supply chain security company, which was later acquired by Aqua Security, we’ve gone from stealth to serving global enterprise customers in under six months.

We're now looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer, focused on the frontend side to join our core team and help build the foundation of Echo's security platform.

What you’ll do

• Take responsibility for Echo's platform and infrastructure, building the frontend and backend experiences that make our revolutionary container security solution
• Take ownership of the product, tech stack, and development processes, driving technical decisions across the frontend and backend
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software and implement best practices in both frontend and backend development
• Lead complex projects in close collaboration with Product Managers and other Software Engineers, from technical planning through execution and delivery.

What you bring:

Required:

• 5+ years of experience in modern frontend technologies with strong focus on user experience, such as TypeScript or React/Next.js
• 3+ years of backend experience with Node.js
• Strong background in microservices-based architecture and cloud environments (AWS is an advantage)
• Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Proven ability to address performance issues in both web apps and backend systems
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

Preferred:

• Knowledge of container security concepts or cybersecurity domain
• Background in data visualization or complex dashboard development
• Hands-on experience with build automation and deployment processes
• Proficiency in working with AI assistant tools (such as Cursor, Copilot or Claude)
