Role Overview

As a Robotics Operations and Development Intern, you will play a key part in operating and improving Deliverz.ai’s autonomous delivery robots. This role is both hands-on and technical. You will manage live robot operations, ensure smooth deployments, and contribute to our software platform by collaborating with our engineering teams.

This internship offers a unique chance to bridge real-world robotics with cloud-driven automation while learning how large-scale autonomous systems operate in production environments.

What You’ll Do

• Operate and monitor autonomous delivery robots during on-site missions
• Troubleshoot and optimize robot behavior, connectivity, and performance
• Support the development of backend and control tools that power daily operations
• Collaborate with engineers to test, debug, and document new capabilities
• Analyze telemetry data and contribute insights to improve reliability and speed
• Participate in technical discussions, gaining exposure to cloud robotics and IoT

What You Bring

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Familiarity with Python, TypeScript, or Node.js
• Curiosity about robotics, automation, and distributed systems
• Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to work on real-world challenges
• Ability to think critically and communicate clearly in a fast-moving team environment

Compensation & Schedule

• This is a paid internship with hourly compensation based on experience and skill level.
• Work hours are flexible to accommodate your academic schedule.
• Work is performed on-site at our project location in Sheba Hospital, Tel Hashomer.
