Software Engineering Team Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced Engineering Team Lead to join our R&D organization. This position is ideal for a technical leader who enjoys combining hands-on development with architectural vision, product impact, and people leadership.

You will lead a skilled team of engineers across multiple technology stacks, driving innovative solutions that influence the future of digital identity and customer trust.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance, career development, and technical direction.
• Drive the design, implementation, and delivery of end-to-end features spanning web, mobile, backend, and infrastructure layers.
• Collaborate closely with Product, UX, and Data Science teams to define and execute impactful technical solutions.
• Oversee production SaaS systems in mission-critical environments.
• Promote best practices in software engineering and foster a collaborative, problem-solving culture.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and customers to continuously enhance product experience and system performance.

What You’ll Need:

• 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
• 3+ years of proven experience as a people manager in an R&D environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with modern web application stacks (React, Node.js, Java, .NET Core, Scala, or similar).
• Experience designing scalable, concurrent, low-latency, fault-tolerant systems.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, SaaS systems, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Proven track record of leading complex, cross-team projects from concept to production.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to lead in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Ownership mindset — building systems that scale, perform, and are maintainable in production.
• Background in cybersecurity, AI, or computer vision is a plus.
