Inventory Planning Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to manage inventory planning and supply chain operations for a leading import-based organization. This is not a traditional procurement role, but rather a strategic planning position focused on inventory optimization, supply chain coordination, and import flow management.

Responsibilities:

• Full responsibility for inventory management across the group
• Conducting and overseeing inventory counts, analyzing discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with procedures
• Analyzing inventory levels, identifying shortages or surpluses, and implementing preventive actions
• Maintaining and updating inventory systems, including parameters such as minimum stock levels, MOQ, safety stock, and replenishment policies
• Continuously improving inventory efficiency to enhance profitability and service levels
• Planning procurement quantities and timing based on operational needs and inventory analysis
• Monitoring purchase orders and coordinating with internal stakeholders
• Overseeing goods receipt processes and managing inventory flow from suppliers
• Reviewing and approving import documentation (supplier invoices, customs broker invoices)
• Coordinating with logistics and customs brokers for import shipments
• Supporting product managers and sales teams with inventory-related inquiries

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Industrial Management, or a related field

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of team management experience
• Proven experience in inventory planning, production planning (PPC), and import operations
• Hands-on experience with inventory management systems and ERP platforms
• Familiarity with inventory parameters such as MOQ, safety stock, and replenishment planning
