SAP Project Manager

Ben-Gurion University of the Negev is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a large-scale digital transformation project within the Computing & Cyber Division.

This senior role involves full ownership of the project lifecycle — from planning and execution to monitoring and delivery — in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all project phases: planning, execution, and control.

• Oversee risk management, project timeline (Gantt), budgeting, and steering committee meetings.

• Define requirements and manage organizational change processes with internal stakeholders.

• Manage the tender process (together with the VP of Computing & Cyber) for selecting the system integrator responsible for implementing new information systems.

• Supervise the integrator’s work and ensure alignment with the University’s technical teams, suppliers, and clients.

• Coordinate efforts across computing teams, vendors, and organizational units.

• Anticipate and address organizational, technological, and operational challenges throughout the project.

Position Level:

Department Head – reporting directly to the VP of Computing & Cyber.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in implementing SAP systems in projects exceeding ₪20 million in scope.
