Tax Department Manager

A leading accounting firm is seeking a Tax Department Manager with strong knowledge and expertise in various tax areas.

The role includes, among other responsibilities, providing tax services and advisory to diverse private and public companies in Israel and abroad, covering corporate tax, international tax, personal tax, VAT, and support in purchase and sale transactions of assets.

This is a managerial position that involves providing ongoing assistance on client matters, both domestically and internationally, and coordinating with relevant client contacts and tax authorities. The role also includes addressing issues across all firm departments, with a focus on the audit department.

The position reports directly to the firm’s Tax Partner. It requires professionalism, responsibility, and the ability to manage employees and workflow.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in taxation - mandatory
• Excellent English skills - mandatory
• Knowledge of Israeli and international taxation - mandatory
• Law license – advantage
• Ability to manage employees and processes
• Strong written communication skills
• Responsibility for multiple areas of activity
• High motivation, analytical skills, and ability to learn quickly
• Fast learner, proactive, analytical mindset, and excellent interpersonal skills
