About the Role

This 6-month contract assignment is with Palo Alto Networks, supporting the XSIAM & Platform Frontend Team in building the next-generation Cortex platform.

Contractors will be engaged through trusted staffing partners and not employed directly by Palo Alto Networks.

Reporting to the Group Manager, the Senior Software Engineer will join a high-performing global team driving innovation across the platform. The role may require occasional travel for business meetings or events. Candidates using personal vehicles for business purposes must hold a valid driver’s license and maintain reliable transportation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality, scalable Angular/React components for mission-critical products.

• Build and maintain a robust design system – reusable libraries, frameworks, and UI standards ensuring product consistency.

• Identify technical challenges and propose pragmatic, scalable solutions that improve team efficiency and code quality.

• Establish and advocate for engineering best practices, including test-driven development and clean code standards.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, UX, and other Engineering teams to deliver a cohesive and engaging user experience.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, preferably in an international environment.

• Advanced hands-on expertise with the Angular framework.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript for building large-scale web applications.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

• Positive “can-do” mindset with a focus on execution and quality delivery.
