Technical Product Manager

Description

Check Point Threat Prevention group is looking for an excellent technical product manager to join the product team and take part in developing the industry's next generation of Cybersecurity technology and products. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and roll out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy.

Major Responsibilities

In this role, you will be taking part in leading a product in a critical area. Using data and customer feedback, you will develop an understanding of customer needs and will use this to define and drive new features.

The right person has high levels of customer obsession, a strong demonstrated ability to build repeatable and scalable processes and is an independent operator skilled in working cross-teams to deliver on behalf of customers.

As part of this role, you will:

• Be the customer advocate, be familiar with customer business and echo system
• Review customer requirements and deliver functional requirements and technical solutions by defining and refining user stories for the R&D team. Work closely with PM, R&D leaders, and Product UX
• Participate in design reviews and usability tests

Desired Background

• 4+ years as a product manager, in either cyber security or related industries such as networking or IT/Cloud infrastructure
• Deep understanding of the threat and attacker landscape
• Familiarity with AI technologies particularly in the context of product integration
• Highly organized & obsessive over the details while also focusing on what comes next
• Strong technical background in software architecture and enterprise software products
• Experience in fast-paced environments with overlapping projects/deliverables
• Experience in driving products through a matrix of R&D, Sales, Marketing, Support, Executive, and Customer stakeholders
• Understanding and experience implementing products using Agile methodologies
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Computer Science or Engineering degree and/or equivalent work experience

• Ability to execute complex projects in large organizations
• Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders
