Principal Backend Engineer

We are building the creative backbone of eCommerce, powered by proprietary foundation models — a full-stack platform where teams can plan, create, deploy, and optimize visual content in real time.

As a Principal Backend Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our AI systems. You'll design and build large-scale image processing pipelines, web-scale crawlers, real-time recommendation engines, and intelligent features powered by cutting-edge models and LLMs — all on top of our high-performance infrastructure for AI training and inference.

This role blends deep hands-on engineering with strategic technical thinking.

You probably are:

• A software engineering overlord with 8+ years of hands-on Python experience
• Someone with a sharp eye for software design and architectural elegance
• Experienced in at least two of the following: large-scale backend systems (including domain and database design), AI data pipelines, or large-scale web crawling
• A fast, self-driven learner who’s always ahead of the curve on new tools, technologies, and concepts
