Head of Economic Department

Leading Retail/Wholesale Corporation is seeking for Head of Economic Department

📍 Location: HaSharon, Israel

🕐 Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a team of economists.

• Develop the company’s business plan and define financial and commercial KPIs.

• Oversee the corporate budget, including subsidiaries.

• Conduct ongoing financial analyses, feasibility studies, and build economic models.

• Perform continuous budget control across all units.

• Collaborate closely with senior management and HQ teams.

Requirements:

• Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field – mandatory.

• 3+ years of managerial experience as Head of Economic/Finance Unit – mandatory.

• 3+ years of experience managing FP&A (budget, forecasts, analysis) – mandatory.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills – mandatory.

• Experience in retail / trade / consumer sectors – a significant advantage.
