Network Engineer Team Lead

Team Leader – IP Communications | South Israel (On-site)

We’re looking for a hands-on IP Communications Team Leader to lead a professional team of engineers and technicians working on complex, large-scale communication systems. This is a security-cleared position (Level 6 → Level 3) supporting a major defense client.

What You’ll Do

• Lead & Develop a Team: Manage and mentor a team of communication engineers and technicians, driving technical excellence and professional growth.
• Plan & Execute: Design, deploy, and maintain advanced IP communication systems, including upgrades and new technology integrations.
• Ensure System Reliability: Maintain high availability, performance, and security across enterprise communication systems.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with internal teams, external clients, vendors, and IT stakeholders.
• Drive Projects: Lead complex, organization-wide communication infrastructure projects from planning to delivery.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 3 years of experience managing communication/network teams.
• Deep understanding of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Routing, and Switching.
• Strong background in network security (Firewalls, VPNs).
• Architectural vision and ability to design end-to-end network solutions.
• Advantage: Experience with IP telephony systems (VoIP, SIP, Call Managers).
• Hands-on technical background – this is a managerial but also practical role.
• Cisco expertise is a must.
• Background in technological military units – a strong advantage.
• Must be based in the South of Israel (no hybrid work).
• Working hours: 08:00–17:00, with on-call rotation as needed.
