Responsibilities:

• As a Backend developer, you will work on Neema’s financial core.
• Tackle complex challenges both in business and scale/performance related.
• Own new developments from design to deployment.
• Work closely with various teams in the company - product, finance, operations, bizdev and others.
• Strive for greatness - Ensure highest standards of architecture & design, performance, security and best practices are met.

We’re looking for:

• Team players. Rockstars without the ego. Fast learners that work hard and get S*** done.
• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent is a MUST.
• 5+ Years software development experience.
• Java experience is a must.
• Experience in developing high performance scalable backend systems.
• Extensive DB experience (MySQL, Mongo, Redis).
• Kafka/Confluent or other distributed events platform is an advantage.
• Previous fintech experience is a plus.
• Cloud platforms (esp AWS) knowledge is an advantage.
