Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Physicist, Electro-Optical Engineer or Production engineer, located in Rosh HaAyin. We are looking for a Physicist or Engineer to join our PPKTP production team, responsible for creating unique crystals used in quantum optics and other advanced applications.

Our department produces products of the highest quality standards for customers worldwide. To achieve this, we operate strict manufacturing processes using state-of-the-art equipment and real-time quality control, requiring strong technical understanding and decision-making during production.

This is a hands-on position, focused on manufacturing optical elements, performing advanced optical and electrical measurements, and providing technical support to the R&D department.

Work includes operating in cleanrooms, fume hoods, specialized production systems, lithography and coating systems, and optical tables.

The ideal candidate is precise, organized, and technically skilled, with strong analytical and physical understanding. The role includes performing diverse optical measurements to evaluate product quality, offering creative solutions and process improvements, and collaborating closely with R&D.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Physics or Electro-Optical Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience
• Hands-on work for precise production processes
• Experience conducting experiments and optical measurements on optical tables
• Experience working in cleanrooms, lithography, and coating processes – an advantage
• Experience with vacuum systems – an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
