Head of Quality Engineering Team

Head of Quality Engineering Team | Lod | Aviation Division – Israel Aerospace Industries

Israel Aerospace Industries, Aviation Division, is seeking a Head of Quality Engineering Team to lead quality initiatives in our aviation manufacturing operations.

The position includes:

• Planning team activities and supervising engineers’ performance within projects

• Providing guidance, mentorship, and support to engineers, including onboarding new hires as needed

• Implementing operational and quality management plans

• Representing the company professionally with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers

• Leading efficiency and process improvement initiatives

• Assisting the department head in various activities

• Performing any additional tasks as required

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – required

• Strong technical skills, including reading drawings and identifying on-site issues – significant advantage

• Experience in the aviation industry – advantage

• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) – advantage

• At least 2 years of experience in quality engineering – advantage

• Experience managing a team of 3 or more – required

• High proficiency in English – required

• Personal attributes: ability to work under pressure, strong interpersonal skills, task-oriented, decision-making capability, broad perspective, leadership ability
