Wanted: Data Scientist / Computational Genomics Scientist

We’re looking for a Data Scientist with a strong background in bioinformatics and human genetics to join our R&D team in Tel Aviv.

What You’ll Do

🧠 Design and implement models and algorithms for genomic and clinical data analysis

📊 Build smart pipelines integrating genomic, phenotypic, and nutritional datasets

🧬 Extract biological insights from genomic data (VCF, BAM, FASTQ)

⚙️ Develop ML and deep learning models using **Python, TensorFlow, or PyTorch**

🤝 Collaborate with bioinformaticians, nutrition scientists, and engineers to turn genomic data into actionable recommendations

What We’re Looking For

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in genomic or bioinformatics data analysis

• Strong programming skills in **Python** and data libraries (NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn)

• Experience with ML frameworks (**PyTorch / TensorFlow**)

• Familiarity with **AWS, Git, and Linux**

• Analytical, curious, and excited about solving complex scientific challenges

Nice to Have

🧩 Experience with **GATK, DRAGEN**, or similar pipelines

🧩 Experience with **Nextflow, Docker**, or workflow automation

🧩 Knowledge of statistical genetics or computational genomics
