Scope:

The Hardware product manager is a key member of the product management organization. He is the product lead for D-Fend’s advanced SDR product, extensive portfolio of deployment configurations, as well as new hardware product initiatives.

In this role, you will:

• Own the products design(requirements), development to specifications, release-to-market and life cycle support
• Work closely with R&D, Manufacturing to ensure product quality in all aspects and phases of the product
• Ensure optimal prioritization of R&D efforts to meet the product goals
• Define radio certification requirements and processes in collaboration with R&D as well as other engineering standards to be supported by the product
• Support the product production processes
• Develop and update the product’s roadmap in accordance with customer needs, market trends, technology developments
• Lead the Product Life Cycle Management (PLCM) process in the company
• Develop relevant technical product descriptions and other technical documentation
• Support field trials, customer surveys, technical support, and production processes

Required Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in product management of radio communication systems
• Experience in complete product life cycle, from design to release to market and support
• Strong background in RF, antennas & engineering
• Experience with mechanical aspects of radio units and antennas
• Experience in managing projects from initiation, defining project scope to delivery to customers in defense domain, working closely with operational military/law enforcement/intelligence end-users
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork, ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment.
• Self-learner. Ability to lead new projects from start to finish.
• B.Sc. in electronic engineering - advantage.
• Knowledge of common radio and environment certifications - an advantage
