About the Company

We are a pre-seed, deep-tech startup operating in Stealth Mode.

• Our Mission: To leverage cutting-edge AI to make a significant impact on individual lives and to eliminate accessibility barriers for millions of people. 
• Our Stage: We are currently in the product development and validation phase, backed by successful early funding from mission-aligned Angel Investors/VCs. The CTO will immediately partner with the CEO to define the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and lead the path to our Seed funding round.

You will have full ownership over the technology stack and the freedom to define the engineering DNA of the company. This is a ground-floor opportunity where your code and technical vision will be the foundational IP of the business.

What You'll Do

As the CTO/Co-Founder, you will be the definitive voice for technology within the company and a partner in overall strategic leadership. Your responsibilities will include:

• Technology Strategy & Roadmap: Define, articulate, and own the entire technical vision and architecture for our AI-powered assistive platform, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and future-proof.
• Hands-on Development: Lead by example. You will be expected to write significant code, establish engineering best practices, and contribute directly to the initial product development and POC.
• AI/ML Leadership: Drive the core development, training, and deployment of our proprietary AI and ML models relevant to the assistive technology domain.
• Product & Business Alignment: Work hand-in-hand with the CEO and Product team to translate market needs, user feedback, and business goals into technical requirements and product features.
• IP Development: Oversee the protection of our IP, including proprietary algorithms and system designs.

Who You Are

• Experience: experience in software development, with at least 3+ years in a senior/leadership role.
• Technical Depth: Deep, hands-on expertise in building and deploying AI/ML systems (e.g., computer vision, natural language processing, or deep learning architectures). Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), scalable database design, and modern software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
• Domain Interest: A genuine passion for Assistive Technology and a desire to leverage AI for positive social impact. Previous experience in health tech, MedTech, or consumer accessibility is a strong plus.
• Startup Mindset: Proven ability to operate effectively in a lean, fast-paced, and ambiguous startup environment. Must be resourceful, resilient, and a pragmatic problem-solver.
• Leadership: Excellent communication, mentorship, and interpersonal skills. Comfortable pitching the technical vision to potential investors, partners, and future hires.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).

Compensation & Commitment

This is a Co-Founder position that is strictly equity-based for the initial phase of development.

• Equity: Significant foundational equity stake commensurate with the responsibilities and risk associated with a Co-Founder role in a stealth-mode venture.
• Salary: Initial compensation is equity-only until successful seed funding is secured, after which a competitive market-rate salary will be implemented.
• Location: Flexible/Remote
