AI Engineer

A young AI startup in stealth mode operating in Digital Health, developing an AI algorithm that summarizes phone calls for medical teams, primarily with chronic patients. The algorithm provides in-depth analysis and suggests follow-up treatments, helping reduce time spent per patient and increasing patient throughput. The company already has paying customers.

Based in Tel Aviv (near a train line), with 1–2 remote days per week.

Founded by 3 founders, currently with 3 additional developers and 2 analysts. The company is backed by a well-known Israeli VC founded by a former Unit 8200 commander, with multiple successful exits in its portfolio.

Role:

• Owns the entire AI function, reporting to the CTO
• Responsible for building, improving, and deploying LLMs
• Development and research on advanced LLMs in production environments, tailored to healthcare data
• Build pre/post-processing pipelines, improve validation, compare model performance, and deploy models on multilingual medical datasets with a focus on efficiency and accuracy
• Fine-tuning Speech-to-Text models, focusing on Domain Adaptation and techniques like Quantization and Pruning
• Hands-on work with PyTorch, LangChain, Hugging Face
• Operate within a team of developers and analysts in AWS/GCP environments, including integration and comprehensive documentation

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in AI/ML development
• One year of experience with LLMs – mandatory
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries such as PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain – mandatory
• Experience with Speech models – advantage
• Cloud experience (AWS/GCP) – mandatory
• Relevant Bachelor’s degree – mandatory
