Data Science Team Leader

A well-established and profitable Israeli high-tech company leading the Performance Marketing and Decision Support space in the digital world.

The company has developed smart comparison platforms helping millions of users make accurate decisions, primarily serving the B2C U.S. market. Their solutions are built on clean, high-quality data, focusing on advanced algorithms and innovation in AI, Search, and more.

The company is based in Tel Aviv (near the train), operates a hybrid model with 2 days remote per week, and has 400 employees.

Key responsibilities-

• The role is part of the Data Science team at the forefront of development, responsible for Research to Production.
• Managing 3 employees, reporting to the Director
• 50% hands-on work, solving complex Machine Learning problems
• Handling the full ML workflow: diagnosing business problems, data processing and analysis, model training, production deployment, and continuous improvement via A/B Testing and statistical tools
• Daily Python development, SQL, and use of libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn
• Collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Business teams
• Core technologies: Python, SQL, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Machine Learning, A/B Testing, AWS, Production Pipelines, LLMs, Embeddings, RAG, VectorDB, and more.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree – mandatory, preferably with honors/distinction
• 1+ year of leadership/management experience – opportunity for a first managerial role; prior leadership background is sufficient
• Classical Machine Learning on tabular data – mandatory
• Python development – mandatory; experience implementing models in production; candidate should be able to pass a coding implementation test
• Fluent in Hebrew
