Engineering Laboratories Manager

A leading defense company is seeking an Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineer/Practical Engineer for a fascinating position that combines responsibility for product validation testing, signal processing development, and the management of advanced RF laboratories.

Position Overview:

This role involves designing, setting up, and operating complex testing systems for signal processing and RF systems, integrating test equipment, software development, and dedicated hardware solutions.

You will lead the technical and logistical operation of four advanced laboratories, collaborate with multiple internal and external interfaces, and analyze experimental results together with development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implementation of advanced testing systems for signal processing and RF products.
• Perform data analysis and technical investigations in collaboration with algorithm, software, and firmware engineers.
• Identify and troubleshoot development issues, leading resolution processes alongside R&D teams.
• Manage laboratory operations, including infrastructure, computing, and test equipment maintenance.
• Specify, procure, and integrate new equipment according to project requirements.
• Work closely with IT, cybersecurity, security, facilities, and external contractors.
• Maintain and operate advanced test systems (GNSS simulators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and more).

Requirements:

• B.Sc. or Practical Engineer in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
• Graduate of a technological military unit.
• Experience working with engineering tools and computer systems.
• Strong familiarity with RF test and measurement equipment – spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, etc.
• Independent technical leadership, initiative, and engineering curiosity.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to work across multiple interfaces.
