Android Developer

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Pre-install planning – review network diagrams, size servers, and define storage/bandwidth needs.
• On-site installs & upgrades – rack servers, harden Windows, load our VMS, confirm camera streams.
• Systems integration – connect our API to access-control, PSIM, GIS, and third-party analytics.
• Troubleshoot & own issues – packets, SQL logs, Event Viewer; solve 80 % yourself, escalate the rest.
• Train users – run half-day admin and operator sessions, and provide quick-start guides.
• Document & report – log every case in SFDC, update playbooks, feed lessons back to R&D.
• Travel 40-60% across APAC; work remotely when not traveling.

Requirements Must-haves

• B.Sc. in CS/EE or 7 + yrs equivalent hands-on work.
• 5 + yrs in field support, implementation, or professional services with enterprise customers.
• Strong in:
• • Networking (L2/L3, VLANs, multicast, QoS, Wireshark)
• • Windows Server / Client, Active Directory, Group Policy
• • Virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V) and basic cloud know-how
• • SQL Server install, backup, and query
• • Storage (RAID, NAS, SAN) and GPU-accelerated video.
• Fluent English, clear reports, comfortable working solo on customer sites.

Nice-to-have extras

• AWS stack (EC2, ELB, Auto Scaling, RDS, S3, CloudWatch) or Azure equivalents.
• MCSE, CCNP, AWS SysOps, or similar certifications.
• Thai or Vietnamese, CCTV/VMS background, scripting (PowerShell, Python).
