Key Responsibilities:
1.Leading Magal’s Global Business Operations:
- Overall responsibility for developing, managing, and expanding business activities in international markets.
- Formulating and implementing sales, marketing, and business development strategies, tailored to the unique requirements of each territory.
2.Managing International Sales:
- Leading sales operations across global markets, with a focus on Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe, and Latin America.
- Building sales infrastructures, managing local and global teams, and ensuring achievement of business targets.
3.Oversight of Subsidiaries Abroad:
- Monitoring the business performance of subsidiaries, including strategic planning, budget management, operations, and achievement of business goals (P&L).
- Coordinating between subsidiaries and the company’s headquarters in Israel.
4.Business Development and Strategic Partnerships:
- Identifying new business opportunities in existing and emerging markets.
- Establishing collaborations with governmental, security, and commercial stakeholders.
- Involvement in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) of international companies within Magal’s core domains/verticals.
5.Continuous Improvement and Operational Efficiency:
- Driving processes for performance improvement, resource optimization, and operational innovation.
- Analyzing business data and generating insights to support decision-making.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years’ proven experience in managing complex B2G/B2B sales within the defence or homeland security sector – Mandatory.
- Strong track record in leading sales of technical systems with long sales cycles -Mandatory
- Demonstrated success in market analysis, strategic planning, and proposal leadership – Mandatory
- Significant experience in managing international operations, including subsidiaries with P&L responsibility (minimum $20M) - Required
- In-depth knowledge of emerging markets and local regulations across Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe, and Latin America.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate multicultural teams, including GMs, sales managers, desk officers, and business partners.
- Mother tongue level English – A must ; additional languages – a strong advantage.
- Ability to travel frequently abroad.
