Information Security Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Information Security Administrator to join our Cybersecurity and Information Security Division. This role serves as a key point of contact between end-users, system managers, and the security team, ensuring the organization's digital assets are protected and security protocols are effectively implemented.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a point of contact (POC) for end-users and system managers regarding cybersecurity matters.
• Handle routine security requests such as access permissions, phishing incident investigations, email release approvals, software installations, and more.
• Investigate daily alerts from organizational security tools, including suspicious user or endpoint activity.
• Manage and implement a cross-organizational risk reduction program in collaboration with IT stakeholders.
• Monitor and guide architectural and application-level configurations of cybersecurity systems.
• Lead implementation of infrastructure improvement recommendations (e.g., AD, FW, Cloud).
• Generate monthly metrics and reports from security tools.
• Manage and approve policy exceptions across all cybersecurity platforms.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within a large enterprise or IT services company.
• Hands-on experience with security tools such as Defender, Firewalls, DLP, XDR (advantage).
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture (networking, servers, security).
• Experience in investigating security incidents, handling email release requests, and managing DLP exceptions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating technical documentation and guidelines.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure – an advantage.
