Supply Chain Manager

A leading defense manufacturing company in the field of communications and security is seeking a Supply Chain Manager.

Location: Ashkelon

Areas of Responsibility:

• Full management and responsibility for the company’s Production Planning & Control (PPC), Procurement, and Warehousing departments.
• Overall responsibility for planning, implementation, supervision, and optimization of all supply chain processes.
• Procurement and Supplier Management: Identifying new suppliers, managing existing suppliers; negotiating agreements, payment terms, purchase prices, and delivery schedules; implementing Lean procurement processes.
• Warehouse Management: Managing company inventory value; identifying and handling slow-moving inventory; determining optimal inventory levels; finding suitable storage solutions.
• Production Planning & Control (PPC): Managing production order processes; monitoring workflow and identifying bottlenecks on the production floor; implementing 5S processes in production.
• Leading and implementing cross-organizational information systems processes (PRIORITY) to enable data-driven decision-making.
• Defining KPIs for measuring supply chain performance.
• Risk management through assessment and mitigation of operational risks at all project stages.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management or Logistics.
• Proven experience of at least 3 years in Supply Chain / Procurement / Logistics management.
• High proficiency with ERP systems and strong analytical ability working with Big Data.
• Full command of MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong leadership and negotiation skills with strategic thinking in supplier-customer relations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously within tight deadlines.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet schedules.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• High-level verbal and written communication skills in Hebrew and English.
• Willingness to travel abroad occasionally, primarily to countries in the East.
