Network and Information Security Expert

Ness Technologies is hiring a Network and Information Security Expert for a challenging and impactful role!

The position includes full responsibility for the design, operation, and maintenance of the organization’s communication infrastructure and critical network and security systems. The role involves providing solutions, troubleshooting, and leading communication and information security projects.

Full-time position with travel, based in Tel Aviv.

Requirements:

• Relevant academic degree – mandatory.
• 5+ years of experience as a Network Technician – mandatory.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Cisco networking (Switching/Routing) – mandatory.
• In-depth understanding of BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, QoS – mandatory.
• Proven experience in leading network projects.
• Knowledge of wireless technologies and Software-Defined Access (SDA).
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Cisco DNA Center, Aruba Central).
• Solid understanding of network security and secure network design principles.
• Experience with Wireshark, NetFlow, SPAN, and network troubleshooting.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP – mandatory.
• Strong written and spoken English; Hebrew – native level.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to sites across the country.

Advantages:

• Experience with Cisco ISE (including profiling and 802.1x).
• Experience managing and maintaining Cisco Firepower + FMC.
• Familiarity with Agile or DevOps methodologies.
• Previous experience in a large-scale organization.
• Knowledge of passive communication infrastructures.
