We’re looking for a Principal Engineer to join our core engineering team. This is a high-impact role where you’ll shape our architecture, guide technical decisions, and mentor senior engineers as we scale our platform.

• Define and drive the technical vision for large-scale, distributed systems built with Node.js, TypeScript, and microservices.
• Partner with product, and engineering leadership to align business goals with technology roadmaps.
• Architect solutions that are scalable, secure, and resilient, balancing speed with long-term maintainability.
• Lead technical reviews and establish best practices across the engineering org.
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies when they meaningfully improve developer experience or system performance.
• Be hands-on: design, prototype, and review critical code when needed.

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 4+ years in technical leadership roles.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js.
• Proven experience designing and scaling microservices architectures.
  Strong background in distributed systems, APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Excellent system design skills with a pragmatic approach to trade-offs.
• Ability to influence at both strategic and tactical levels — from architecture vision down to code reviews.
• Track record of mentoring engineers and uplifting teams.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to partner across engineering, product, and leadership.

• Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, observability, Kubernetes).
• Contributions to open source or technical thought leadership (blogs, talks, OSS projects).
