Signal Processing Algorithms Team Leader

Mobileye develops next-generation high-performance long-range LiDAR systems for autonomously driving vehicles. The project involves cutting-edge electro-optic modules for FMCW LIDAR, HW, VLSI, mechanics, SW, FW, and Signal Processing and Vision Algorithms.We are looking for a signal processing algorithms team leader. As a part of your work, you will lead the team of experienced algorithms engineers and researchers.What will your job look like?Develop ASIC(HW) and FW(SW) based algorithms for sampling, pre-processing, calibration, and processing of multi-channel RF signals for LiDAR applications, as well as range and velocity estimators, and image processing of the 4D (Range/Directions/Velocity) representation of the LiDAR outputDeliver fixed point ASIC algorithm specifications to the VLSI team and DSP Algorithms specifications to the SW teamDevelop comprehensive E2E simulation infrastructure for modeling and verification of algorithm pipes at system-level, and release algorithms to ASIC VLSI design and to FW and SWPerform sophisticated system optimization of the sensing KPI performance of the algorithmic chain under various tradeoffsAnalyze and optimize algorithms based on field-recorded data from our LiDARWork closely with the physics team to develop novel concepts for algorithms developments.All you need isBA/MA in computer science, mathematics, and/or B.Sc. in Engineering, ScienceAt least 5 years of relevant work experienceExperience in MATLAB - a mustExperience in releasing algorithms to SW, FW and ASIC implementationGood Understanding of multidisciplinary system modules - optics, mechanics, algorithms, and of system-level applicationExperience in DSP for RF/optic signals (communication, RADAR, sensors) – advantageExperience in algo/system engineering development of electro-optic multi-disciplinary systems and/or of an imaging system of other modalities – advantageExperience with image analysis/imaging sensors development and ML – advantageFlexible and adaptable to work in a fast-paced work environment while supporting field tests and other team tasksMobileye changes the way we drive, from preventing accidents to semi and fully autonomous vehicles.
