R&D Team Lead

Humanz is a funded start-up from Tel Aviv, developing an AI-driven influencer marketing SaaS platform and community.

On the back of rapid growth abroad, Humanz is looking for an experienced and motivated Team Lead Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join our R&D leadership team.

In this role, you will lead and manage a talented team of engineers, guide technical decisions, and play a key role in shaping our main products. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to ensure smooth execution and continuous innovation across our platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of full-stack software engineers.
• Own technical planning, architecture, and code quality across projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into impactful product features.
• Play an active role in defining and shaping the direction of our main products.
• Ensure delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.
• Perform hands-on development as needed to support and guide the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Proven experience taking on leadership responsibilities (extensive experience is a plus).
• Experience working with technologies from our stack: React, React Native, Java, Python, PostgreSQL, and Docker.
• This is our core stack, but we understand that great engineers come from different backgrounds.
• If you bring strong, relevant experience in similar technologies and can learn quickly, we’d still love to hear from you.
• Proven experience building and maintaining scalable, high-availability systems.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and principles.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with relational and No SQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• BSc / MSc Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with ElasticSearch.
• Knowledge of web and networking fundamentals: HTML, CSS, HTTP, VPN, Proxies.
• Experience with Social Media APIs.
• Previous start-up experience in a fast-paced environment.
