Data Engineer (Freelance & Hebrew speaking only)

At least 4 years of experience as Data Engineer.

Paid per project hourly position. Designing and implementing data infrastructure for startups, with BI tools (Fivetran, Rivery, BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, DBT, Airflow), Usually 2-3 Days a week for few months and one day at the office.

Role Description

This is freelance, per project, paid hourly role for a Data Engineer. Mostly working remotely.

The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and data architecture. Day-to-day tasks include data modeling, building and managing ETL processes, and ensuring the integrity and accessibility of data in data warehouses. The role also involves working closely with data analysts to support data analytics initiatives.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Hebrew Speaker
• Good acquaintance with at least one of the Cloud environments (AWS, GCP, AZURE)
• Proficiency in building a Data Model according to business requirements
• Experience with ETL processes and tools (Airflow, DBT)
• Designing and implementing a realtime or event based systems is a big plus.
• Proficiency with at least two of the known Databases (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks)
• Strong problem-solving thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
• Experience in the tech industry
