DevOps Lead

We are looking for a DevOps Lead to drive the design, architecture, and delivery of scalable, resilient, and secure cloud solutions for our customers. In this role, you will lead complex cloud projects end-to-end, guide and mentor engineering teams, and act as a trusted advisor to clients. You will be responsible for setting technical direction, advancing DevOps best practices, and introducing innovative technologies that improve reliability, automation, and speed of delivery across diverse customer environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and lead complex, large-scale cloud projects from architecture design through delivery, including migrations, modernizations, and SaaS platform builds.
• Drive end-to-end solution architecture, ensuring scalability, security, cost efficiency, and alignment with customer requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to DevOps engineers, guiding them on best practices in infrastructure, automation, and cloud-native architectures.
• Champion the adoption of new technologies and methodologies, evaluating and introducing tools and practices that improve delivery for both internal teams and customers.
• Oversee automation and DevOps practices including Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, FluxCD).
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers, translating business needs into technical solutions and delivering high-quality professional services.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, architects, and security teams to align on strategy, delivery, and standards.

Required Qualifications

·      8+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or DevOps roles, with 3–5 years leading large-scale, production-grade cloud projects or driving significant technological advancements.

·      Proven experience designing and building SaaS products from scratch, including multi-tenant or highly scalable architectures.

·      Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

·      Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalents).

·      Solid understanding of networking, identity, and security concepts (e.g., IAM, VPC, encryption, zero-trust models).

·      Practical knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability platforms (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).

·      Demonstrated experience with cloud cost optimization and governance practices.

·      Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring engineers, leading technical discussions, and driving architectural decisions.

·      Excellent client-facing and stakeholder communication skills, both technical and non-technical.

·      Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect) strongly preferred.

·      Fluent in English, with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
