Role Description:

We’re hiring a DevOps Engineer to elevate our cloud and AI infrastructure, keep costs

predictable, auto scale, alerts, and make sure every deploy is bullet-proof. You’ll own the tooling

that lets engineering ship safely, automate everything in sight, and bring a data-driven mindset to

every change. Direct report to the CTO, lots of autonomy, and a big impact on how we scale.

Must-Have Skills:

- DevOps/SRE engineer with 5 + years keeping production-scale SaaS humming

- 100 % hands-on in recent roles (no ivory-tower architecture)

- AWS power-admin – feel like home with VPC, IAM, KMS, EC2, ECS, SES, autoscaling,

cost controls

- MongoDB & ELK - deep operational insight

- Automation-first mindset - scripts, tooling, and repeatable workflows for everything

- Platform - Heroku, Porter, Render, Docker/Kubernetes, and beyond

- Security - encryption, proxies, and networking fundamentals baked in

- CI/CD - gated pipelines, blue-green/canary deploys, smart rollbacks, impact metrics

- HA & DR – builds for uptime, data safety, and compliance-grade resiliency

- Cloud cost - monitors, forecasts, and trims spend without hurting performance

- Observability - logs, metrics, traces, and dashboards that explain the why, not just the

what

Nice-to-Have:

- Email infrastructure (SMTP, SPF/DKIM/DMARC)

- Familiarity with AWS AI services (Textract, Rekognition, Bedrock) and their cost/perf

levers

- Familiarity with open AI infrastructure – how to train Embedded and FT models

- Experience implementing compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA)
