Backend Developer - Maternity Leave Replacement (9 month)

As a Backend Developer, you will contribute to the development of new features and enhancements for our core infrastructure. You’ll work closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-performance backend systems. This role is ideal for a developer with solid Java experience who is eager to grow, learn, and make an impact in a dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do:

Develop and maintain backend features based on product requirements.

Contribute to infrastructure improvements to support scalability and performance.

Participate in design discussions and code reviews with guidance from senior team members.

Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.

Support troubleshooting and resolution of customer issues.

Requirements:

You’ll Do It Using:

3–5 years of experience as a backend java developer.

Solid proficiency in Java and familiarity with performance optimization.

Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle; advantage: JPA/Hibernate).

Exposure to cloud platforms (advantage: AWS services like EC2, S3).

Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

Experience with tools like Jboss, PostgreSQL, and Oracle DB is beneficial.
