Software Engineering Team Lead

A leading cybersecurity company specializing in endpoint and IT environment protection, focusing on detection, prevention, and mitigation of advanced cyber-attacks (NGAV, EDR, XDR).

The protection system collects data from all endpoints and IT infrastructure, analyzing their activity in real time. Using this vast data, the product identifies malicious behavior and presents event sequences through a simple and intuitive interface.

The platform analyzes over 80 million events per second, proactively stopping sophisticated attacks through behavioral analysis, including blocking actions that appear atypical even if they are normally “legitimate.”

The company is located in Tel Aviv (near a train line), offers a flexible hybrid model with three days from home, and employs around 550 people globally, including 160 in Israel.

The role involves managing a team of 4–5 developers, reporting to the Group Manager, and is highly hands-on. Responsibilities include building advanced low-level system solutions across multiple platforms and collaborating with cross-functional teams in architecture, networking, and cybersecurity.

Tech stack: C++, Windows Internals.

Requirements:

• Highly fluent in modern C++ with proven hands-on experience.
• Deep familiarity with Windows and/or Linux internals including kernel-level programming.
• Strong background in systems architecture and networking.
• Practical experience in security, including both offensive and defensive methodologies.
• Knowledge of malware analysis and the evolving threat landscape.
• Proven experience in driver development.
• Track record of leading technical teams to success in complex, multi-platform projects.
