Mechanical Engineer

We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer with strong optomechanical expertise to join our innovative R&D team and lead the mechanical design of next-generation high-resolution systems.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on, end-to-end mechanical design position across the full product lifecycle - from initial concept through design, prototyping, testing, and production.

Please note: This position is not suitable for students or candidates without prior professional experience.

This role is intended for candidates based in Northern Israel.

You will work on:

• Complex mechanical designs involving optics, motion systems, pneumatics, and thermal/vibration simulations
• System-level thinking and integration with electrical, optical, and software teams
• Mechanical strength calculations, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings
• Planning the next generation of machines with innovative design tailored to future industry needs
• Supporting strategic customers remotely on high-level troubleshooting and critical issues
• Collaborating with global stakeholders across engineering, NPI, procurement, suppliers, and production
• Providing technical guidance throughout the supply chain and production processes

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering - MUST
• 3+ years of experience in complex mechanical design (multi-disciplinary systems) - MUST
• Experience with optomechanical design (e.g., cameras, lenses, microscopes) - MUST
• Proven hands-on experience from concept through system-level testing - MUST
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and PDM - MUST
• High-level English - both written and spoken
• Experience with thermal/vibration simulations - advantage
• Strong analytical thinking, ownership, and teamwork skills
