neuRay Labs is an innovative company in the worlds of AI and sensor fusion, especially of radar & electro-optics sensors. Our goal is to revolutionize radar signal processing schemes in AI by leveraging visual information in order to obtain never seen before performance.
We are looking for a versatile Algorithm Engineer with a strong can-do attitude who thrives in a startup environment. This role is for someone who enjoys owning challenges end-to-end, whether it’s designing algorithms, building software, collecting and analyzing sensor data or pushing a project over the finish line.
At neuRay Labs, you will bridge research, engineering and product development—transforming ideas into production-grade solutions that run in the real world.
What You'll Do
- Research, design, and implement algorithms in AI, Signal Processing and Sensor Fusion.
- Collect, analyze, query and validate data from our sensors, including experiments in-the-field, to support algorithms development and evaluation.
- Lead end-to-end projects: from problem definition, prototyping and data experiments to software design, implementation and deployment.
- Translate prototypes into scalable, reliable software.
- Collaborate with hardware, embedded/software and product teams to ensure solutions are well-integrated.
- Continuously monitor performance and refine algorithms based on real-world data.
Qualifications
- M.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field
- Proven experience (at least 3 years) with algorithms and AI/DL/ML
- Proven experience with data collection and analysis in real-world experiments (preferably with sensor data)
- Proven experience (at least 3 years) in Software development (preferably in Python/C#).
- Proven experience in Software engineering best practices (design patterns, testing, version control, CI/CD).
- Ability to take technical ownership of projects and drive them to completion.
- Ability to lead data collection and annotation, from sensors / edge devices, including in-the-field experiments.
- Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills and adaptability.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Experience with model optimizations (e.g pruning, quantization) for running on edge devices.
