We are looking for a versatile Algorithm Engineer with a strong can-do attitude who thrives in a startup environment. This role is for someone who enjoys owning challenges end-to-end, whether it’s designing algorithms, building software, collecting and analyzing sensor data or pushing a project over the finish line.

At neuRay Labs, you will bridge research, engineering and product development—transforming ideas into production-grade solutions that run in the real world.

What You'll Do

• Research, design, and implement algorithms in AI, Signal Processing and Sensor Fusion.
• Collect, analyze, query and validate data from our sensors, including experiments in-the-field, to support algorithms development and evaluation.
• Lead end-to-end projects: from problem definition, prototyping and data experiments to software design, implementation and deployment.
• Translate prototypes into scalable, reliable software.
• Collaborate with hardware, embedded/software and product teams to ensure solutions are well-integrated.
• Continuously monitor performance and refine algorithms based on real-world data.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field
• Proven experience (at least 3 years) with algorithms and AI/DL/ML
• Proven experience with data collection and analysis in real-world experiments (preferably with sensor data)
• Proven experience (at least 3 years) in Software development (preferably in Python/C#).
• Proven experience in Software engineering best practices (design patterns, testing, version control, CI/CD).
• Ability to take technical ownership of projects and drive them to completion.
• Ability to lead data collection and annotation, from sensors / edge devices, including in-the-field experiments.
• Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills and adaptability.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
